About
Introduction
Lase-X’s core technology was developed by the company’s founders; Carlton Brule and Xinbing Liu. Once negotiating the transfer of the intellectual property from their previous employer Lase-X was formed to pursue commercialization of the technology.
Lase-X Technology (Patent Pending)
Lase-X has developed the Laser Marking Tool (LMT) for use in a CNC machining center. It is battery powered, wirelessly controlled, and networkable; packaged as a standard CNC tool.
Product use and Benefits
The LMT allows CNC machining centers to have equivalent functions to that of a standalone laser marking machine. It eliminates waste in process following core principles of lean manufacturing. Now Laser Marking technology can be applied to Point of Origin serialization.
Additionally, the tool is independently networkable from the CNC machine. This enables serialization (data matrices) within the CNC environment to link to and be generated by existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
